Pizza sliders take 35 minutes to make․ Ten minutes are spent preparing them․ I make a dozen pizza sliders to eat quickly or serve to guests․ Pepperoni and mozzarella are baked with garlic butter and Parmesan on Hawaiian buns․ I like this preparation because the buns stay intact․

I slice a loaf of rolls in half and then slice the rolls in half with a long serrated knife․ This is quicker than preparing 12 smaller sandwiches․ You can serve the sandwich halves on an unsprayed baking sheet or other dish as you prepare the other ingredients․ Spreading butter on the rolls prevents filling from sticking to the bottom roll and helps hold the sandwich together․
Use foil to bake the casserole for 15 minutes‚ then remove the foil and bake for the remaining time․ Baking the casserole with foil helps the filling and cheese melt without burning the casserole crust․ Remove the casserole from the oven when the cheese is melted and bubbly and the unbaked portions of the top are golden brown but not pale around the edges․ Unbaked portions of the casserole will be crunchy․
For the Meat Lover's tray‚ I add crumbled Italian sausage and crumbled bacon to the mix․ I let the slab cool a bit before cutting it into slices․ When I'm home and really busy‚ I serve the sliders with Caesar salad and fries or other side dishes․ Caesar salad with garlic butter is one of my favorite combinations․
